Rest Cemetery
The Rest Cemetery serves as the final resting place for many of the pioneers of Milltown. The cemetery is small and located on Bradford Street in the Sayre Borough.
Veterans of the American Revolution, the War of 1812, and the Civil War have found their resting places at The Rest Cemetery.
The same location is where the first school house was constructed in the 1700’s.
Since 1991, the Sayre Historical Society and Museum has taken an active role in managing the upkeep and preservation of this property.
